Although the strike is over, it will still be a few weeks before new episodes shows are back on. I have a few ideas for filling the time.
I was sad when Sports Night was canceled, and I was sad when we'd worked all the way through the DVDs and none were left. A great cast, great acting, great dialogue, great characters. The look is a little dated, but frankly that just adds a layer of enjoyment watching it now.

I watched SN for the first time last year, all two seasons. I was surprsed how much I liked it. Rides the line of comedy-drama easily. Everyone's great, but Macy steals the show with his five or six episode run. And if memory serves, they pull an Arrested Development-like stunt at the end, when all dialogue/situations are really about the fact that the show itself is being cancelled. The one thing that really surprised me was half way through when I looked at the date on the DVD case. Was it really the late 90s? It LOOKS so late 80s to me. Either way great show. Kudos to Sorkin!
