I watch quite a few movies, so many, in fact, that I can't remember what I've seen and whether I liked what I've seen. People sometimes ask me about movies so I want to jot down a few notes. I'm sure there are other reasons that aren't coming to mind right now. I have a headache.

My friend, Ryan Smith, well his uncle produced Juno. Here is an interesting article about him:

Now you are only 3 steps (me, Ryan, Russell Smith) from knowing the director of your A+ movie.
Your post would be more compelling if it had some exclamation points in it. You could have put at least one on your second sentence. Without one, I'm not as emotionally stirred to 'go see it'.
I was in a mildly heated (warm?) conversation with a pal here in L.A. the other night about this movie. He: the dialogue was disengenuous and everybody talked the same, so there's really no depth to them outside of their clear cultural awareness. Me: Yeah, but it sure is funny.
Best Picture? No. Best Picture nominee? Wondering why. Good movie? Indeed it is.
Hey Todd,
I actually took out the exclamation point. Wrong decision I guess :-(
Wow, six degrees of separation becomes three!
Bobby: as always, you capture it so well. I will say that we work with someone who, although a few years older than Juno, could certainly hold her own in the dialog department. If I didn't know Erin, Juno would probably seem less realistic.
I enjoyed the movie and although it may not have had "any depth to them outside their clear cultural awareness" I think that depicts most people living in avaerage America. I pretty much could see someone I personally knew in each one of characthers, making it an enjoyable movie to watch. And you got to give the guy some credit for wearing God awful shorts, socks and sweatband.
I just watched that movie last night after my friend recommended it. Yeah, the dialog was a little cheesey, but in a way, that did make it seem more real. So yeah, I did like it. Wondering, however, if it is promoting teen sex though? Just a thought.
